It’s November already, hard to believe, isn’t it? The Rec Dept. has given WENA a couple of more time slots on Thursdays when we may use the Community Room at Reiche. From 4-5:30 p.m., we’ll be drawing and painting murals to hang in the windows. Other creative pursuits are also welcome. From 6:30-8 p.m., we’re going to try to create a roster of activities so we can do something different each Thursday of the month. We’ll develop some ideas on November 3 – please come and be part of the planning process. There will be some word games to play there that evening.
Attached is a calendar for all the WENA activities happening in November. The WENA Annual Meeting is on Wednesday, November 9, from 6:30-8 p.m. Don’t forget to fall back an hour on Sunday, November 6!
The Community Room is upstairs at Reiche. Enter from the Clark Street side of the building through the left hand set of doors and then take the elevator or stairs up. The Community Room is just off the foyer.
*Mondays: Nov. 7 – Magazine Readers; Nov. 14 – Classic Movie; Nov. 21 – Memento Mori Death Education Series;
Nov. 28 – Animation Movie
**Movies begin promptly at 7 p.m. – popcorn and fizzy water available, bring a snack to share if you wish.
***All activities are free unless indicated otherwise. Donations to WENA are gratefully accepted.
****We assume participants are vaccinated and boosted in accordance with CDC guidelines. Masks are optional, but recommended during flu season. Distancing is appreciated.
