The Portland Community Build is coming up November 8-12 at the Maine Irish Heritage Center and we need your help! After a year hiatus, we have a large number of homes in need of inserts, and as always– we rely on volunteers to come together to support neighbors and lower emissions. We take COVID-19 safety very seriously, and you can read about our protocols HERE.
There are still many volunteer opportunities left and you can sign up HERE.
There are several different jobs that are easily learned and accessible to a wide range of ability and mobility levels. Our builds are fun, community events and they foster a spirit of volunteerism, participation and connection while lowering emissions and keeping homes warmer. All are welcome! Please help us spread the word!
